Description
The vigorous, fast-growing Emerald Goddess Liriope has taller foliage and showier flowers that bloom earlier and for longer than other varieties. The flowers are pinkish-lavender in color and are produced over a 4 month period from early summer to early fall. The foliage stays more upright during the winter and is very resistant to fungal diseases. This variety is not stoloniferous so stays in bounds in a nice, neat clump. Also has better heat and cold tolerance and grows well in full sun or full shade!
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing in a clump 18 to 24 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches or so wide make Emerald Goddess Liriope the perfect choice for a border, however we have used it all over our gardens in mass plantings under trees and in other shady areas. This is a groundcover plant highly suitable for home foundation plantings. It can also be used solo or in combination with other plants in container gardens where it adds a very nice vertical accent and grassy texture.
Suggested Spacing: 18 inches apart for mass plantings or solid border edger

Note: For our customers who live and garden north of USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 5b, where this Liriope variety is not reliably winter hardy, you’ll be happy to know it can be grown in containers that can be brought indoors during winter and placed back outside when temperatures warm up in spring.
Growing Preferences
Emerald Goddesss Liriope is exceptionally easy to grow in most any moist but well-drained soil of average fertility and full sun or shade. When established it is quite drought tolerant and only requires supplemental irrigation during prolonged periods of severe drought. It performs equally as well in full sun as it does shade. If you are looking for toughness and good looks, Emerald Goddesss Liriope is hard to beat!

Just wanted to thank the Wilson brothers for the high-quality plants that I received, their careful packing, and amazing shipping is free! I was able to get 3 gallon Moondance hydrangeas at a reasonable price for that reason.
Everything looks good, including the emerald goddess, liriope, and the blue Pacific junipers. Anxious to see how they do throughout the year.
Thank you so much

These lovely plants arrived in a timely fashion and were fresh right out of the box. They were planted the following day in a spot described as optimal by the website. We have had some unusually hot weather and expected a problem, but with hand watering the plants look just as healthy as when they arrived.—————————————————–We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy it for years to come! What wonderful plants! I’m delighted with them and the packaging. Since I’m handicapped, all my plantings are dictated by worker availability. I love that you shipped in POTS—I can keep them watered until someone makes time for me.
